- Made a beautiful tissue paper flower arrangement to bring love and light to a man going through Chemotherapy for throat cancer.
- Prepared meals for families in crisis (kids find recipes, shop for food and make dishes with parents-then deliver items to the individual or family).
- Gathered school supplies for kids in our community.
- Donated gently used and new clothing and shoes to children, helping them to feel special as the new school year started.
- Planted a memorial tree honoring a lovely lady who recently lost her husband. The tree was planted at Bay Elementary and will serve as a source of love and strength for all those who have suffered a loss in our community.
- Created Heartworks Kids piggy banks. Kids keep them at home and then bring their contribution to the monthly meeting or use the funds to purchase needed items.
- Put on a meal for the community, 500 meals were prepared and delivered in the area for those in need of hope.
- Made a difference for families in need for the past 2 holiday seasons.
- Supported our local animal shelter with food, blanket and toy donations. This allowed for further exposure to this mission with volunteer opportunities.
- Made paper angels to give to people in need of hope.
- Beach clean up.
