The mission of Heartworks Kids is to create opportunities for children and their parents to gather together in the spirit of faith and compassion.

There are two essential parts of our focus: a commitment to our own spiritual and emotional growth and generating acts of kindness in our community and throughout the world.

We give to individuals and families that are in need of hope, (sometimes these are families who would not typically be served through traditional outreach agencies). We are committed to connecting people in need of good will with families who are eager to give of themselves emotionally, financially or spiritually.

The members of Heartworks Kids understand that there are different phases of life: when your circumstances put you in a place that you can give, then give with all your heart. When it is your time to receive…walk the talk and allow others to give to you. We believe that through giving to others we open ourselves to more fulfilling lives, deeper relationships and experience LOVE being alive in our hearts.

Heartworks Kids is an opportunity for children and their parents to directly give back to their community. The kids are encouraged to share their ideas and it is the parent’s role to help bring those ideas to fruition. Children's hearts are pure and full of love. They give unconditionally and with true compassion. Our group fosters their innate ability to give love freely and empowers their spirit. Ultimately understanding that we are all connected, we are all one.

Heartworks Kids is not a religious group. It is spiritual endeavor. We have a meeting once a month and within that month we will have several "giving opportunities" for families to become active participants. Parents are given permission to turn off their cell phone and be completely present with their child for the up-coming hour and a half.
